Conventional cotton is treated with toxic pesticides and chemicals that can remain in fabric even after washing, potentially affecting our health and the wellbeing of farming communities. Our organic cotton tees embrace the natural materials God provided, free from harmful chemicals and produced through farming practices that protect the soil, waterways, and dignity of agricultural workers. When you choose organic cotton, you're making a choice that reflects Catholic social teaching on environmental stewardship and care for the vulnerable, while ensuring your family wears clothing that honors the temple of the body God has given us.
Yes. In fact, the partners we source our shirts through were the very first U.S. supplier certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). They are trusted for their ethical production practices as well as quality standards.
A. For cost effectiveness, & to reduce waste by overproduction, our products are printed when your order is placed. We have partnered with trusted print providers all located throughout the U.S.
Our shirts are printed directly onto the garment, to limit waste brought by transfer films. This printing method enables our printers to use non-toxic inks that are biodegradable.
A. This depends on which item(s) you have ordered. Apparel is printed in & ships from L.A. or Philadelphia (depending on your location); Drinkware & Candles are printed in & ship from Phoenix; Phone Case ship from Wisconsin; Matte Journals are printed in & ship from Maryland; Leather Wallets, Vegan Leather Journals & Woven Blankets ship from Florida.
Please note: If you have ordered several different items they will likely ship at different times, from different locations.
All items are designed (by me, Chanelle) & printed in the U.S. with our U.S. based print partners. Items like candles are hand-poured here in the U.S., but the glass jars containing the wax are sourced from China. Other items such as kid's t-shirts & soda can glasses are made entirely in the U.S. Please see product description on each product for varying information, as each product type is different.
A. All items are made to order. Each product varies when it comes to production time; on average please allow us 2-5+ business days to process the order. Once your order is processed, depending on location, orders can expect delivery in 3-7 days. (On top of production time.)
Please give yourself plenty of time between ordering and when you need the item, especially during the busy Christmas season (when both processing & shipping times will naturally be extended due to high demand).
We process orders very quickly, to ensure it reaches you as soon as possible & in most cases cannot make changes once the order is placed. If you have any concerns, please contact us at hello@dappledglory.com and we’ll do our best to assist you. If your order has already shipped, you may be able to request a delivery redirect through the carrier. For USPS shipments, you can check their package intercept here.
Because we are a small, family-owned shop, and all orders are made to order, we generally cannot accept returns as larger companies might. However, if you have any questions please, reach out to us at hello@dappledglory.com & we can see if there is any way to help you.
If you are unhappy with your order due to a fault of ours, such as a defective product, reach out to us right away so we can make it right.
A. At the moment, we do not ship outside of the U.S. But please stay in the loop by subscribing to our weekly reflections and updates to see if and when this might change.
Reach out to us (hello@dappledglory.com) first to see if there is any way we can help. We highly recommend filing a claim directly with USPS for lost or damaged items. You can start the process here on their website, or by visiting your local post office with your tracking information.
A. If there is an issue with your order, such as damage or poor quality, please reach out to us at hello@dappledglory.com. within 7 days after receiving your product. We will generally need to provide a photo of the damaged product to our print providers, so please be prepared to provide a photo showing the issue. We value you, and want to ensure you love your item!
